We came to Greenville from napa with a love of wine, a lot of experience, and absolutely no intention of being apart of a wine shop in a deli.

And then we met the owners of Augusta Street Market.

Somewhere between conversations over bottles, good food, and the realization that we all shared the same idea of what a neighborhood gathering place could be, something started to take shape.

Augusta Street Market was already doing what we loved: good food, good people, and a genuine sense of community. We saw an opportunity to bring wine into that mix—not as something intimidating or overly serious, but as something meant to be opened, shared, talked about, and enjoyed.

So, somewhere along the way, Augusta Street Wine happened.

What started as a wine program tucked inside a deli has grown into something of its own: a carefully curated collection of bottles from producers and places we love, with a focus on wines that are interesting, honest, and worth drinking.

We still believe wine should be fun. There are no secret handshakes, no unnecessary jargon, and no expectation that you need to know everything before you walk through the door. We’re here to help you find the bottle you’re going to want to open tonight—and maybe introduce you to something you didn’t know you were looking for.

Because great wine is about more than what’s in the bottle.

It’s about the people around the table, the stories behind it, the meal it lands next to, and the excuse to open one more.
